The Purpose of this Blog.

There are many reasons for my desire to write this information and share it with others. Of all the reasons, my main goal or purpose, if you will, is to help those who are ready, to wake up. Now, the subject of awakening has many connotations and most of them are new age or religious.

The concepts I will be touching on have parallels to new age and religious aspects but the important thing to come away with is the message. This is something very important here that is always so easily overlooked. The reasons for why we so readily overlook so many important teachings in our life is for another post. However, the importance is the message not the teacher or institution that many teachings have been veiled under.

Here is something to chew on and for many of you it will be a hard to take in. Those who claim the knowledge and wisdom you are seeking must be accessed through them are giving you false teachings. Now take a moment to think about that and all those people who have claimed such authority over you. How and why we so easily accept such claims over us is for another post. Right now, one toe at a time is all that is needed.

What is awakening?

The awakening I will be sharing is a beginning, there is no end, to questioning everything and opening your heart up to do much more. Some may think it is strange that I mention opening your heart but our hearts are at the center of it all. This may seem a bit new age or even religious for some and for those, start thinking of your heart in a whole new way.

There is so much truth in “all you need is love” but so many strings have been tied to it. Many religions teach us what love is in the name of the lord then pass around the basket while you are made to feel guilty for not giving. New age tells us that we just have to have positive feelings of love and condition our thoughts to only think love. Then make us feel guilty for not manifesting our desires because it is our negative thoughts and feelings that are getting in the way.

Now, what’s important is the message about our hearts and how it all starts there. If you decide to follow your own journey understand that part of awakening is seeing the truth through the lies. Part of the success in keeping individuals asleep is giving truth in plain sight but shrouding in mis-information that keeps us dependent.

Dependency is not real!

Constantly searching for truth outside of ourselves is dependency and it is an efficient prison that is not real. What I mean by this is, many of us believe there is someone out there who will give them all the knowledge and wisdom they have been searching for.

The reality is, we show each other the path to knowledge and wisdom and the universe does the rest. You could read one post of my blog and have more than enough to kick you off because, as I said, the universe will step in and take you as far as you are ready to go.

The universe? Here is one of those new age terms that can confuse the message with the institution. But for now, the important thing to remember is that I use the term “universe” to include many things. All we will touch on in later posts but in a nutshell, the universe is god, angels, spiritual teachers, ascended masters, past love ones, and much more.

Much of this may seem out there to you but hang in there and let these concepts simmer on your conscious. The payoff is amazing.

What’s to come?

This is the first of many posts to come. I will be expanding on the concepts mentioned in this post as well as so much more. I hope this post is enough to encourage you to start your journey. If any of this information made you think absolutely not, then you are not ready.

The material things we are taught not to hold on to is a half truth. Material is what god wants for us. Why would he give us this material world if we are to keep unattached to them. The other half of the truth that is not taught is, we are supposed to let go of beliefs that are taught to us so that we can let the truth in.

I will be expanding on meditation, consciousness, awareness, and connecting to the celestial realm to name a few. Meditation is the door way, thought is the pivot. I will try to communicate that the way we are is truly perfect, all negative thoughts included. From this foundation, I hope to help you discover there is a way to fully embrace who we are while being the happiest you have ever thought possible.

What this blog won’t do. 

I am writing this blog with the goal to help you discover yourself and live the life YOU know you were meant to live.

This blog is not intended to give relationship advice or advice in any sense of the word. I strongly encourage you to only take the information on that feels right and truthful to you. I do not expect for anyone to take any of this information as absolute but rather take on what feels right and expand from there as it feels right to you.

This blog is not intended to tell you how to live your life but instead give you some tools to look inside of yourself, understand your own blocks, discover what they mean to you, and how to drop those blocks. You will not find your block on this blog but you will find tools to help discover what your blocks are.

I hope you find the information in this blog helpful and hope to see you back often. The urge I have had to get this blog off the ground and up has been tremendous and this feeling I have tells me it will reach the right people at the right time.

It may feel like new age or religious but this must all be established on your terms not an institution’s! As soon as you start looking outside of yourself for the answer, look again because it’s in you. Keep this following question always in the back of your mind. Does this place the importance in an institution or individual, or is this about me and my discovery?

After all, wouldn’t this life be boring if the meaning to everything was taught to us? What would be left? I truly feel discovering ourselves in the light of god is truly it.
